It was lovely to welcome local athlete Lauren Cadden to our school on Wednesday.
Lauren cane to do a training session with our running group (2nd to 6rh classes) at break time.
Lauren has won a number of National Medals, the most recent one being the Irish Universities 400m track event in Belfast.
Lauren also represented Ireland in the World Relay Championships in the Bahamas recently. She brought in her baton from that event to show us !
We learned lots of sprinting tips from Lauren and asked her great questions.
We wish Lauren the very best in her training for the Paris Olympics panel in August
