On Wednesday, Senior Infants went on a trip down to the Canon on the seafront, stopping on the way to look at the history of Strandhill. We first looked at a PowerPoint about Benjamin Morrow and his contributions to the village; building the road, church and guesthouses, as well as bringing the canon. We had worksheets to fill in on the walk down, writing down and drawing things that have changed and things that have stayed the same since the road was first built. We had a lovely time and learned so much about Strandhill!
