What a glorious day we had visiting Cilleaspaigbrone. We learned about the Legend of St. Patrick and his lost tooth, how the original church is 1,500 years old. We visited the multidenominational graveyard and learned why some gravestones are tall and others flat stones. On our return to school, we completed a worksheet, consolidating what we had discovered.
