September is Athletics month in Scoil Asicus and Mrs Joyce leads the children from 3rd - 6th classes each day in their training. Sprinting and practising the baton handover pays off at the Athletics Fest in ATU Sligo.
our athletes ran brilliantly, giving their all and representing the school so well. The competition is very competitive with only heat winners making the finals.
Our Junior girls placed 2nd in the finals, junior boys came 3rd in ther final and our Senior boys were the 2nd team in the finals.
